UGC warns 21 DU colleges running without principals

Over 22 of the 77 colleges of Delhi University(DU) are operating without a permanent principal. UGC has issued a warning to 21 of these colleges. Funds the UGC shall be withdrawn if full-time principals are not appointed within the given deadline. DU Students Protested against new PhD and MPhil UGC Guidelines

DU students protested against new UGC norms. The protest was held on Wednesday in the Arts Faculty block of Delhi University. It took the form of a hunger strike.They protested against norms rerequiri PhD and MPhil candidates to score a minimum of 50% in the entrance test to be eligible for admissions.
