Pro Kabaddi 2018 Match 19: Bengaluru Bulls versus Tamil Thalaivas
The nineteenth match of Pro Kabaddi 2018 ended in yet another defeat for the Tamil Thalaivas. They were up against the Bengaluru Bulls. They lost 35-44 against them. Rohit Kumar did not take initiative throughout the entire game. The raiding was left to Pawan Shehrawat and Kashiling Adake. They both got super raids.
Ajay Thakur and Athul MS also gave decent performances for their sides. Pawan racked up 14 raid points and 2 tackle points. Kashi also got 10 raid points and 2 tackle points.
The proceedings for the Thalaivas was started off Sukesh Hegde. But soon after that, the Bulls took the reins of the match. Pawan Shehrawat got yet another Super raid scoring 4 raid points in a single raid followed a quick 1 point raid. Adake followed his example. He scored a super raid and 2 tackle points. The Bulls soon got 2 all outs. By half-time, the Bengaluru Bulls were leading with a score of 25-14.
Soon after the break, the Thalaivas returned to the game. Ajay Thakur and Athul MS scored an all-out. The Thalaivas were slowly getting closer to the Bulls. But then, Ashish Sangwan, combined with Jasmer Gulia tackled Ajay Thakur and Sukesh Hedge and regained control of the Pro Kabaddi 2018 match.
Athul MS kept fighting. But Ajay seemed to be in a lot of pain after a tackle to the knees.
At this point, the Bulls were aware that the game belonged to them. Kashi raided sensibly and Pawan went in for the do or die raids. They kept getting points and the score kept rising. It was a comfortable victory for the Bulls.
The Thalaivas are weakened now. Ajay Thakur’s injury will surely affect them in a negative way. The Bengaluru Bulls should be very happy with their performance in Pro Kabaddi 2018. Their defence is working really well with a few switches. Let’s see how they fare in their next match.
