Sona Mahapatra Refused to Sing a Song With Arijit Singh – She Don’t Want to Sing the Closing Lines of a Song
Sona Mahapatra felt insulted because in some of the songs that offer to her have only just the closing lines for her to sing and for that reason she walked out of the studios. The singer stated about the intense state of the industry that she faced in the past and present. She says out of 10 songs, 8 songs has a male voice.
Sona Mohapatra is very Famous singer of Bollywood, who earned some high fame with her Soulful voice and speaking the truth. She had spoken up for various issues that she felt to be shared. In a latest interview to a publication, the singer admitted that she has walked out of studios because she doesn’t want to single just the closing lines of a song.
According to the news publication, Sona Mohapatra said that she has been approached to lend her voice to songs where a major part is sung Arijit Singh and she only has to sing the last few lines. She lashed out saying that it is almost like a man is making love to himself in the song. Sona Mohapatra further added that the industry is currently, in a very regressive state and there was a time when we wouldn’t put out a soundtrack without a Lata Mangeshkar voice in it. While stating facts, the singer reportedly said that according to a recent research, 8 out of every 10 songs has a male voice.
