Pro Kabaddi 2018 Match 33: Patna Pirates versus Jaipur Pink Panthers
The 33rd match of Pro Kabaddi 2018 was fought between the Patna Pirates and the Jaipur Pink Panthers. The Pro Kabaddi 2018 match started and Patna Pirates took the first point, in their very first raid. Jaipur Pink Panthers returned the favour tackling Pardeep Narwal in his second raid.
The Panthers had adopted a strategy of keeping Pardeep Narwal off the court. But, the opposition team was not dependent on just one person. The match kept changing its pace. Not even five minutes into the match and Pardeep Narwal fired off a Super Raid. He took three points and increased the Patna Pirate’s score to five. Anup Kumar too responded with a Super Raid. He crossed his 500 mark in Pro Kabaddi League career with this raid.
It was truly an intense match from the start. Nine minutes into this match, Pardeep Narwal attempted a second Super Raid. This raised Patna Pirates’ score three points once again.
At half-time, there was a difference of seven points between the teams. Patna Pirates was leading Jaipur Pink Panthers with a score of 22- 15. An interesting thing to be noted is that there had already been three Super Raids of the night this time.
After halftime, the first raid was conducted Ajit from Jaipur Pink Panthers. But he got tackled. Jaipur Pink Panthers was not going to just sit and watch the match get out of their hands. They did a super tackle in return tackling Pardeep Narwal.
Anup Kumar was able to turn around the game a little bit. and brought the difference of seven points in the score to just four. He took full advantage of Pardeep Narwal’s absence on the court.
A second all out happened in the Pro Kabaddi Match with nine minutes remaining. The difference of 12 points with Patna leading at 33. This was the point of no return. The match ended with Patna Pirates scoring 41 and Jaipur Pink Panthers 30.
