The founder of Super 30, Anand Kumar has come under the ire of some students due to the alleged charges of deceit and misleading.
Some of the students have alleged that Anand Kumar made a misleading claim this year that 26 students out of 30 students have cleared the JEE exam. While in reality, only 3 students have made into the final list, students added.
A Patna based widely popular coaching institute Super 30, Anand Kumar founded it in 2002 with a vision to provide free coaching to the poor and underprivileged students aspiring to crack IIT-JEE, one of the world’s toughest entrance exam for engineering, came into limelight when it gave the 100 per cent result in 2008.
Anand Kumar had a childhood dream to crack IIT, but owing to the financial constraint he couldn’t afford to join any coaching centre. And, thus missed out on the final list due to the lack of poor guidance.
It was this agony inside his heart of not being able to crack IIT- JEE, which prompted him to open a coaching institute that will provide free of cost coaching to the IIT-JEE aspirants.
He ensured that any talented student is not left out of getting a proper guidance due to the money problem. Soon, he became a torchbearer and messiah for the talented but poor students. Which earned him many awards and international recognition.
One the one hand a biopic showcasing the inspirational story based of Anand Kumar is all set to be released next year, on the other hand, he has been accused of misleading the people not only this time around but in the past as well.
As per the news doing around the internet, Anand Kumar runs a coaching institute called Ramanujan Classes along with the Super 30. Students are charged hefty fees in the admission in Ramanujan Classed. And only the top performers in the Ramanujan Classes get a chance to study in “Super 30”.
