On the first day, raid has collected a sum of Rs 10.04 Crore and with upper growing upper in the graph it has an exceptional growth of 38.04 percent on is second day. This move will step too long on box office. Critics had reviewed this movie with a lower mark, but the solos release and promotion of this movie has worked in the favor of Raid.
The story tells about a fearless income tax officer, who conduct a big raid against one of the locknuts most connected and known politician. It is a period’s drama set in the 1980s. Indian Express’ film critic Shubhra Gupta gave a negative review of the film and wrote, “Raid had potential, but it comes off overlong and tepid. And where is the city of Lucknow? What we get is same-old flashes of historic buildings in all their crumbling glory, as a backdrop to drab songs, but no sign of the vibrant, living culture of the place this film is supposedly set in.
