Chris Hemsworth to make his Netflix debut in India-based film
Avengers star, Chris Hemsworth is going to make his Netflix debut. It shall be done with an action-thriller set in India.
The movie is named Dhaka. The plot revolves around Chris Hemsworth rescuing a kidnapped Indian boy. Hemsworth will play the role of a man who is facing difficulty battling his emotions. The man is passing through a state of turmoil in his life.
The script of the film has been constructed Joe Russo. He is one of the popular Russo brothers who drove forward Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War.
The movie will be directed Sam Hargrave. He is making his directional debut with the movie. Chris Hemsworth will be trying to rescue the Indian boy who will be hidden in Dhaka.
Chris Hemsworth has his hands full on the work front. The actor is currently doing post-production for Drew Goddard’s Bad Times at the El Royale. He is also doing post-production for the untitled Avengers film. Hemsworth will also be seen in the spy thriller MIB.
Dhaka is also a union of the Marvel staples – Chris Hemsworth and Joe Russo. So, it was inevitable that Marvel related news would not be taken up.
Chris Hemsworth said, “If you were shocked [Infinity War], I think the second one is even more shocking, for other reasons entirely, that’s what kind of blew me away the first time I read both scripts, is how they managed to orchestrate so many different characters but give them each their own separate shot and moments, and have it be elevated and feel fresh and unique—not just like a messy, thrown-together assembly of these guys.”
