India currently fighting war against terrorism on two major fronts: Islamic terrorism in Kashmir and Red-terrorism in central India. Red-terrorism is officially called as Left Wing Extremism (LWE). Since it is a planned way to kill innocent people and terrorising people and the state machinery, more suited term can be used for it is ‘Red-Terrorism’.

At present, there are 104 districts in 13 states, affected red-terrorism. It is a major security threat for the internal security of India. Red-terrorism in India, often collaborate with Islamic terrorism officially funded the Pakistani intelligence agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). As per then West Bengal DGP Naparajit Mukherjee, ISI is having close liaison with some pro-Naxal overground organisations through banned Students Islamic Movement of India in West Bengal and helping them to instigate people against the government.
While red-terrorists continue to kill innocent civilians and security jawans who belong to poor families, they justify their killings in the name of Marx, Lenin and Mao’s ideology. Around the same time when Modi government came into power, the red-organizations merged into one in May 2014. CPI(Maoist) and CPI(M-L)Naxalbari merged into one. This was done to intensify their activities. As per Merger Declaration of CPI(Maoist) and CPI(M-L)Naxalbari, “The unity now achieved gives a boost to the capacity of the CPI (Maoist) to better fulfil its role as the vanguard of the Indian revolution. Over decades of arduous struggle, sacrificing thousands of lives of great communist leaders, red fighters and oppressed masses, the CPI (Maoist) has developed the people’s war in India to the level where guerilla bases and red political power, in the form of Revolutionary Peoples Committees, have been established in central and eastern India, protected the People’s Liberation Guerilla Army and the People’s Militia.” This declaration is signed Ganapathy, General Secretary of CPI(Maoist) and Ajith, Secretary of CPI(ML)Naxalbari. This declaration clearly expose their idea of terrorism and the war against India.
There is a need of hour to act against the red-terrorism in similar manners we deal with Islamic terrorism. They are closely collaborating with Pakistan’s ISI. Red-terrorism can be fueled Chinese government if eliminated withing certain time.
