Home Minister Rajnath Singh gives formula for permanent solution to Kashmir problem
Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who is on a four-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir, addressed media about his visit, strategies and policy of the government regarding Jammu and Kashmir. In his address to media persons, Shri Singh proposed a formula for permanent solution to Kashmir issue. He called it five C formula. These five ‘C’s are
compassion,
communication,
coexistence,
confidence building
and consistency.
I will tell you it is based on 5 Cs i.e. ‘Compassion, Communication, Co existence, Confidence Building and Consistency.

Home Minister stressed on the people’s participation in development of the state and making Jammu Kahsmir again a safe destination for tourists. He said that, I have come here to meet all stakeholders and from different sections of the society. Shri Singh said, ‘After meeting the delegations and holding meetings here, I understand that the situation in Kashmir has greatly improved.I don’t want to claim that everything is completely fine but things are improving, this I can say with firm belief”. To express this, he said:
Whatever I have seen seen in Kashmir I can say ‘अमन के दरख्त कश्मीर में अभी सूखे नहीं हैं’
