Why Bollywood actresses have double standards for women?
Yesterday, #ZairaWasim was trending in India as she accused that someone molested her while she was on flight. Everyone came into her support. Today, when accused person and his wife came to media and explained entire episode. The family said that accused person’s feet unknowingly touched Zaira’s feet while he was sleeping. They raised valid questions like why Zaira Wasim didn’t complained during 2 hours of light. Why she took it to social media instead for talking it to the fight attendants or authorities. Clearly, entire episode proved to be publicity stunt the emerging star.
When a woman journalist questioned Zaira Wasim’s motive in her tweet:
“While we want Juveniles to be tried as Adults, #ZairaWasim (17+) is a Kid? She doesn’t- Complain to Cabin Crew or Ground Staff,Confront offender,Request to change her seat & instead goes LIVE @instagram when molested? She’s wise enough to Refuse to stand up for #NationalAnthem?”

Entire liberal women brigade of Bollywood became blood thirsty for Jagriti. Noted actress Sonam Kapoor tweeted quoting her tweet:

Even ‘Bharat Tere Tukade Honge’ slogan fem activit Shehla Rashid jumped into trolling. She thanked Sonam Kapoor for trolling Jagriti Shukla:

It is important to note that these Bollywood actresses calling others as trolls, while they themselves are trolling Jagriti. It is important to note that for Zaira, they trashed Jagriti. Their act is disgusting indeed. Being a Bollywood actor doesn’t mean that you can put any absurd allegation on anyone. And if you really care about women’s modesty, both Jagriti and Zaira should be equally respected.
