Rs. 5000 crore Taliban Heroin Racket Busted

The Delhi Police special cell carried out a 120-day operation. They have successfully busted an Af-Pak heroin racket which was being controlled a Taliban leader and his Pakistani counterpart. This is the biggest ever contraband bust till date in Delhi and hence has led the police to discover 150 kg of heroin which costs over Rs 600 crore. The cartel had found devious ways to transport the drugs which were embedded in jute strings that would be made into bags. These bags were filled with spices and dry fruits.…

Foreign troops to quit Afghanistan in 18 months: Peace Deal

On Saturday, U.S. negotiators agreed to a draft peace deal. This draft is stipulating the withdrawal of foreign forces from Afghanistan within 18 months of the agreement being signed. This was reported Taliban officials. The details were given to Reuters Taliban sources. This news came at the end of six days of talks with U.S. special peace envoy Zalmay Khalilzad in Qatar.
