India removed from US currency monitoring watch list
US government has removed India from its monitoring list for currency manipulation, clearing doubts over India’s foreign exchange policies including undervaluation of currencies to gain export advantages. The US Treasury Department added Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam to the list. However, the Donald Trump administration has decided not to label China or any other country currency manipulators.
