Shivraj Chouhan announces Cow Ministry for Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced before elections that his government will set up a cow welfare ministry for the state. This will ensure that the cattle in the state are treated well. Chouhan said at an event in Khajuraho, “I have reason to believe that the Cow Protection Board in the state should be turned into a full-fledged ministry.”

This announcement was done before the state assembly elections. The ruling BJP is expected to face a resurgence in Congress popularity.

If Madhya Pradesh implements this decision, it will become the second state of India after Rajasthan to get a cow ministry. Cow Protection Board Chairman, Akshileshwaranand Giri had earlier recommended the setting up of such a ministry. He said that the movie would inspire future generations to take care of cows in the same way the Chief Minister ” had tended to bovines at his home.”

He also said that establishing a Cow Ministry would help in creating a “golden Madhya Pradesh”. This would set a precedent for other states.

But on the other hand, Congress Chief Kamal Nath has also promised to construct cow shelters in every panchayat if voted to power. Last month, he said, “Look at the condition of cow here. They always keep talking about cattle but do nothing for them. If we are voted to power, we will construct gaushalas in every panchayat”.

There has been an increased focus on the welfare of cows ever since the BJP government led Modi was voted into power.

It seems like everyone wants to protect the cow, but no one wants to protect human rights. The cow ministry establishment scheme of the parties seems to be a trend in the states of the central region of India. A lot of cows will be able to live peacefully now. They will build a better India.
