Akshay Khanna and Richa Chadha is coming back with a suspense drama titled Section 375, Yes, we are missing the bhi polo punjaben on the big screen and one of the perfect actor of Bollywood Akshay Khanna. The film which will be directed Manish Gupta coveys the misuse of rape laws in the country.
The suspense drama will be produced Kumar Manget Pathak and Abhishek Pathak. “Rape laws are being misused men and women alike leaving the judiciary and police confused as to which rape case is genuine and which is fake,” Gupta said in a statement.
The film rotate around a rape case that is so arguable in nature that the judges find it hard to decide that whether it’s a rape case or simply consensual sex. In the film, Akshay Khanna plays the role of accused’s defence lawyer and the role of a public prosecutor is played Richa. They both bring irrefutable evidence for their own clients innocence and the guilt of other party. Which makes the judge puzzled about the truth.
For making the movie perfect Gupta attended several hearings in court for two years. “There are special courts with female judges who only hear rape cases. I have also met survivors, their families, alleged rapists and lawyers representing both sides. It’s very disturbing not only for the accused and the survivors but also their families,” Gupta said.
