Pro Kabaddi 2018 Season 6 Match 7: Jaipur Pink Panthers vs U Mumbai
The seventh match of Pro Kabaddi 2018 resulted in the first win for U Mumbai. They made a terrific comeback in the second half of the match. They defeated the Jaipur Pink Panthers 39-32.
The Pink Panthers were masterful defenders. It was their offensive prowess that could not keep up with U Mumbai. They managed just 14 raid points compared to U Mumbai’s 22 points. An odd thing was the absence of the Panther’s prolific leader, Selvamamani K. There is rising concerns regarding his fitness. Especially in the first half, their defense was well coordinated.
On the other hand, U Mumbai showed dedicated focus and coordination throughout the match. They showed storys composite. They were able to make a comeback from a score of 5-11 and win the Pro Kabaddi 2018 match.
Siddharth Desai was their star performer. He clinched 13 points from his 17 raids. He also inflicted the very important all-out in the second half of the match. This was a turning point in the game. It turned the tides in favour of U Mumbai. He was adequately supported Rohit Baliyan and Vinod Kumar. They came off the bench and scored 7 and 3 points, respectively.
Both of them should start the next match and replace Abhishek Singh who score 1 point and Abolfazl Maghsodlou who scored 0 points. They failed to make any impact whatsoever in the game.
The Panthers will now battle the Haryana Steelers on their home turf in Sonepat. U Mumbai will also fight against the Steelers in Haryana.
The seventh match of Pro Kabaddi 2018 was as exciting as expected. The outcome war never definite or pre-planned. The ball kept bouncing for both sides. It was truly an exciting age adrenaline pumping match. What is left to be witnessed is whether Mumbai can continue its winning streak and will Jaipur be able to redeem itself?
