Pro Kabaddi 2018 Match 34: Gujrat Fortunegiants vs Tamil Thalaivas
The 34th match of Pro Kabaddi 2018 was played between the Gujrat Fortunegiants and the Tamil Thaliavas. This match was really interesting because both the teams are equally strong. The Gujarat Fortunegiants are the finalists from the last season. The Tamil Thalaivas had just beaten a well-rounded Puneri Paltan outfit. Both the teams were skilled and confident.
Ajay Kumar from Gujarat started with the first raid got a point. Ajay Thakur from the Thalaivas did the same. A few minutes later int he Pro Kabaddi 2018 match, Sunil from Tamil Thalaivas performed a back hold on star raider Sachin in order to tackle him. Sachin had his revenge. He took a point in a Do-Or-Die raid. He also had a tackle on Sukesh Hegde. He pulled Gujarat Fortune Giants at eight all. At halftime, Gujarat Fortune Giants were leading the match 16 – 14.
After halftime, Gujarat right corner instantly got rid of Ajay Thakur. Tamil Thalaivas tried substituted him with Athul. But he got out in the first raid. He could not make any impact on the game. Manjeet tried a wrist hold but failed. The score read 23-15.
With less than five minutes on the clock, Gujarat concentrated on running the clock down. They deduced that the Thalaivas had no chance of a comeback. It all ended up with a grand victory for the team from Gujarat Fortune Giants with the scoreboard reading 36-25.
Sachin, from Gujarat Fortune Giants, became the raider of the match was with 11 raid points. Parvesh Bhainswal also bagged four tackle points from five attempts. His tackle percentage is at an astounding 80 per cent.
The Thalaivas again depended too much on Ajay Thankur. His initial dismissal dealt a huge blow to the entire team.
Form this Pro Kabaddi 2018 match, it is clear that the team from South won’t improve unless their Captain gets support from others.
