Number of missing has escalated to 1000 in California Wildfire

The number of missing has escalated to 1000 in the California wildfire case. The wildfire has devastated northern California. The remains of eight other victims were found rescuers as well.

Butte County Sheriff Kory Honea said that the number of missing has soared from 631 on Thursday to 1,011 on Friday. More reports of missing were being sent in and emergency calls were being made continuously. These are being reviewed in order to find clues to surviving victims.

The eight additional victims bring the number of people who have died in the so-called campfire to 71. Three other people have died in Southern California in another blaze that has been named the Woolsey Fire.

Honea added that the list of missing was constantly fluctuating. This did not mean that all those who were on the list were presumed dead. He said, “I want you to understand that this is a dynamic list. The information I am providing you is raw data and we find there is the likely possibility that the list contains duplicate names.”

The number of dead has been updated to 71 and the missing to 1011. Hopes and prayers are rushing in that the missing are those who escaped and have yet to make contact with their loved ones.

Research and rescue procedures are in full swing. Even the President, Donald Trump has extended his hand towards the suffering victims. And this had happened even before the number of missing has escalated to 1000 in the wildfire.

The Sheriff has reported that the calls that they received on November 8th are also being reviewed. This will help them track down the locations or at least the estimated locations of the people who went missing during the fires.

Already the number of missing has escalated to 1000 in California Wildfire and the list keeps on increasing. We extend our condolences and prayers to the victims of the fire.
