Congress Party Ticket on Sale: Seeds of Corruption in Rajasthan
The Congress Party has a great history; a great history of corruption, that is. But the party has also redeemed itself many times and the public has forgotten and forgiven. But what they have done this time is truly unforgivable. The heading is not a click bait. They have truly put the Congress Party ticket on sale.
The person who has been detected the radar like a nuke on fire is Selja Kumari. She has been accused of selling the Congress Party ticket at the cost of Rs 3.5 crores. What is truly ironical is the fact that she has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Rajasthan screening committee.
The Congress was really pushing the issue of corruption and now the Congress Party ticket on sale. The Congress had promised to go to all the 51,000 booths in Rajasthan with the slogan ‘Booth Jitao, Bhrastachar Mitao’ (win booth, remove corruption). Their agenda seems to be a little deviated from their original goals. They had previously blamed the BJP government for protecting corrupt officers in Rajasthan.
Over the years, Sachin Pilot has said a lot of things regarding the eradication of corruption in the country of India. But it is truly frightening to see the real face of the demons behind the fake masks of angels. This form of accusation relating to corruption is nothing new for the Congress party. They have been involved in or their name has been thrown in many other related corruption scams. This includes scams such as Delhi CNG scam, Mizoram office of Profit scam, Maharashtra Annabhau Sathe Development Corporation (ASDC) scam, Nagpur land grab case and many more such instances have the Congress name associated with it.
It is not clear whether the corrupted mindset exists at the top of the party or at the bottom. But the Congress Party ticket on sale shows the level to which the party has fallen since its inception in 1885.
