Bollywood Actress Sridevi Passess Away, a dark day for Bollywood. On Saturday night she had a cardiac arrest, confirmed her brother-in-law Sanjay Kapoor. She was 54. Sridevi was in UAE with her family to attend the wedding ceremony of Mohit Marwah. The only female superstars of Bollywood who earned such fame and blessings.
“Yes, it is true that Sridevi passed away. I just landed here, I was in Dubai and now I am flying back to Dubai. It happened roughly around 11.00-11.30. I don’t know more details yet,” Sanjay confirmed the news.
Sridevi was born as Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan and had worked in tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films before coming to Bollywood. She begin her career as a child artiste and mark the stars to be the biggest female superstar india ever had. The government of India awarded her Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honour, in 2013.
Her recent movie English Vinglish was appreciated everyone and with some great movies like, Chandni, Lamhe, Mr India, Nagina and more in the 1990’s, she had won millions of heart. Her last movie MOM in 2017 is also received winning accolades. Her daughter Janhvi is set to make her Bollywood debut this year with Karan Johar’s directorial Dhadak
