Padmavati Challenges – Deepika Padukone Not Attending Global Entrepreneur Summit.
I know everyone knows about this, The Padmavati Controversy. We all are tired of hearing every day a new news regarding this buzzing topic. This issue is spreading like a fire and we all pray that this fire will not burn anyone.
This news is not related to Padmavati but indirectly it is related to this movie’s controversy. Deepika Padukone who is the center character of this controversy has dragged out of Global Entrepreneur Summit, which will have our Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka to attend the inauguration on November 28.
A senior official of the Telangana government said on Monday that Deepika has declined to attend the event.The actor was expected to speak at a session on ‘Hollywood to Nollywood to Bollywood: The Path to Moviemaking’ on November 29.
“Earlier Deepika Padukone was expected to be in that session but now she has declined,” said Jayesh Ranjan, Secretary, Information Technology, Government of Telangana. He also said that the decision if Deepika is still unknown
The official release date of Padmavati is also extended. Protest Rajput Karni Sena in different states pressured producer to extend the dates. Also, some party leaders and Right Wing Group have threatened the actress and Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
A leader of Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha (ABKMS) has announced a reward of Rs 1 crore for “burning the actress alive”.
