Pro Kabaddi 2018 Match 37: Dabang Delhi versus UP Yoddha

The 37th match of Pro Kabaddi 2018 was between two highly confident teams. Both had won their last matches and were aiming to win this one as well. Dabang Delhi’s lead raider, Naveen opened his account in the very 1st raid of the match with a bonus point. Rishank Devadiga, the Captain of UP Yoddha was not a part of the playing 7 today. So, Prashant Rai was captaining the side. He proved his worth opening the scoring in the very 1st raid with a touch point and bonus.

But Shrikant Jadhav’s continuous successful raids reduced Dabang Delhi to 2 players. Their captain, Prashant Kumar Rai got rid of the remaining 2 players in a single raid. He inflicted the 1st all-out of the Pro Kabaddi 2018 match. The score was now 14-12 with the Yoddhas in the lead.

Delhi tried to make a comeback. They took a review which went unsuccessful. The UP Yoddha, Shrikant Jadhav made a Toofani Super Raid. The pressure was on for the Delhi side with the score of 14-21. To add insult to injury, just one minute before halftime, Dabang Delhi got all-out for the 2ndtime.

With the start of the second half, Delhi fought back. They tackled a UP Yoddha raider with 3 men coming together as a team. They could have done that in the first half.

With 13 minutes left on the clock, Yogesh Hooda’s 2nd ankle hold led to UP being reduced to 2 men. But then UP executed another super tackle on Naveen Kumar. The score was 22-30.

Chandran Ranjit’s 2-point raid pushed UP towards their 1st all-out. Dabang Delhi was back in the game with an amazing comeback. With 2 minutes to go, the score was 35-all.

Shrikant Jadhav had a 2-point raid that gave UP a lead of 1 point There was less than a minute left on the clock. This proved to be the turning point of the match. UP then kept their calm and tackled Naveen to win the Pro Kabaddi 2018 match.
