The Oppo Realme 1 was a classic example of a budget smartphone. It provided a 2Ghz processor at just a starting price of Rs 10,990 for the 4 Gb + 64 Gb Variant and 13,990Rs for the 6Gb + 128Gb variant. Not just that, the performance was really wonderful as the phone never lacked and games ran smoothly on the mobile. Well, while it was a really good smartphone it also some flaws like it had a battery of 3000 Mah without fast charging, no fingerprint sensor and an average camera. The good news is all this will be updated in the Realme 2 which is coming sooner than you might have expected. Let’s take a look at what will be in the package of the new phone Realme.
What’s New?
(1) A Fingerprint Sensor
One thing is for sure that the new Realme 2 will feature a fingerprint sensor which was lacking in its predecessor the Oppo Realme1. There is no denying the fact that the Realme 1 had a fast face unlock but in various conditions, nothing can be compared to the fingerprint unlock. It certainly provides a plus point to the Realme 2.
(2) Improved Dual Camera
Compared to other phones the Realme 1 lacked in the camera area with only a single rear camera of 13 megapixels while there was a good front-facing camera of 8 megapixels. This time Realme certainly might treat you with a dual rear camera.
(3) Fast Charging and an Improved battery
While it is certainly called greediness the people using Realme 1 know that the phone doesn’t support charging for more than a day. If you play heavy games like Pubg then you might even have to charge it twice a day. Charging also takes up to an hour and a half.
Thus if the Realme 2 supports fast charging even with the same battery of 3000 Mah then it certainly eliminates the battery problem.
Along with these many new features are expected. Like in every big smartphone notch has become pretty common in phones releasing nowadays especially in Huawei mobiles. The phone might come in 3 variants again for the sake of providing varieties and choices.
Release Date
The Realme 1 was released in May 2018. The Realme 2 is supposed to get launched in the next few weeks so approximately till the end of September you might be owning a new Realme 2.
