Pro Kabaddi 2018 Match 17: Telegu Titans versus Bengal Warriors
The seventeenth match of Pro Kabaddi 2018 was intense. It was the Telegu Titans against the Bengal Warriors. It was a real tussle between the two teams. But in the end, the Titan’s attack couldn’t hold up. They lost the match with a five-point difference. The final score was 25-30.
Much was expected of the Titan’s attack. That is because it comprises of assets like Rahul Chaudhari and Nilesh Salunkhe. But they managed to score only 10 points. Star raider, Rahul Chaudhari scored only 2 raid points from his 12 attempted raids. He was literally struggling against the Warriors’ defence. Salunkhe, on the other hand, contributed 6 points to the team. This was done with 5 raid and 1 tackle point.
The Titans’ defence was in excellent form, as usual. Mighani scored another High-5 with 5 tackle points. Captain Vishal Bhardwaj also did well. He contributed 4 tackle points. The defence scored well. They racked up a total of 13 points.
The Titans’ attack, on the other hand, was sloppy. The whole attack seemed to depend too much on Chaudhari’s performance. Defender Farhad Rahimi didn’t contribute anything to the team. It wouldn’t be a surprise if he is dropped after this Pro Kabaddi 2018 match.
The Warriors were trailing with a 10-13 score. But after the half-time break, they just smashed on. It was a great comeback. It was spearheaded Maninder Singh. He achieved a Super-10 and got 11 raid points. Other raiders were not in their best shape. Mahesh Goud and Jang Kun Lee scored 2 points each. Their defensive show was not their best, but it was adequate. They managed to score 7 tackle points. Shrikant Tewthia contributed 3 points, Captain Surjeet Singh 2 and Ran Singh 1 point.
In their next Pro Kabaddi 2018 match, the Warriors will go against the UP Yoddhas. The Telegu Titans will be pitted against the Patna Pirates. Let’s see who wins then.
