Padmaavat Box Office Collection : Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Movie Crossed The Mark of 50 Crore

The most controversial movie is went out on the big screen, ‘Padmaavat’, which was earlier named Padmavati. It was pushed ahead almost two months. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s finally released on 25th January, which was earlier announced to release on December 1, 2017

According to a report on BoxOfficeIndia.com, ‘Padmaavat’ collected Rs 31 crore on day two of its theatrical run, i.e. Friday. The earnings nearly doubled from the Thursday Collection, which is just 17.75 Crore. The difference in high earning is because Friday was a holiday on account of Republic Day. ‘Padmaavat’ so far collected a total collection of Rs 53.50 Crore.

Padmaavat’ is having a great run in Mumbai, South India, West Bengal, while the regions of Delhi and Punjab are underperforming and with the highly violent act in Gujarat, it is also affected from the inappropriate act done some organisations.

Critics and Audience really enjoyed and appreciated the performances of the film’s leading actors Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Shahid Kapoor and the captivating visuals of the epic story. The film’s story focuses on Padmavati – the wife of Maharawal Ratan Singh, who is known for her extreme beauty and battle powers in the 13th century. Padmavati captures the fancy of the reigning Sultan of Delhi, the relentless Alauddin Khilji (Ranveer Singh), who becomes obsessed with her and goes to great lengths to satiate his intentions.

With so many protest and controversy, this movie has still more to tell. It will cross some heights in the upcoming days, when everything will be normal. Places like Gujarat, Rajasthan people are eagerly waiting to watch this epic movie.
