As India Celebrated Dussehra; Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Raksha Mantri Nirmala Sitharaman Joined Jawans
When country was celebrating the victory of virtuous over evil, the effigies of Ravan was burned across all over the country; two prominent minister of Modi government chooses it to celebrate it with Jawans. Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman celebrated Dussehra with the troops in Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir respectively.
Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh interacted with the Jawans of 1st battalion of the ITBP deployed in Rimkhim near Barahoti, which has been witness to alleged transgressions the Chinese Army in the past. Shri Singh also took part in a ‘Shashtra Puja’ performed at the ITBP camp to glorify the spirit of valour.
Raksha Mantri Ms Sitharaman joined the Jawans at Siachen and other forward locations in the Ladakh region. She assured Jawans about the government’s commitment of support in all circumstances. She was accompanied Chief of the Army Staff General Bipin Rawat, Northern Army Commander Lt Gen D Anbu and GoC 14 Corps Lt Gen SK Upadhyay.
